J.A. Elliott was a Butte, Montana, resident and amateur photographer. The collection consists of a letter (1899) from Elliott to Frank Patterson discussing the sale of Elliott's photographs (May 1892) of buffalo. This collection contains a two-page handwritten letter from John A. Elliott to Frank Patten discussing the making and selling of photographs of buffalo. The photographs were taken in May 1892.
